A touching tribute will be paid to Ava Gray with a balloon release on Saturday.
Dozens are expected to pay tribute to the 12-year-old ‘dancing angel’ at the memorial in Dalmonach Park in Bonhill.
Heartbroken friends of Ava organised the memorial, which will take place at 1pm, as a chance to say a final goodbye to the girl.
One of the organisers Samantha Henderson wrote: “I only knew Ava a short time but by god she had left a huge hole in our hearts.
“She was an amazing young lady and I know that the whole of the area are going to miss her terribly.”
The body of Ava Gray was pulled out of the River Leven near Balloch Bridge at around 9.45pm on Sunday after a three-hour search.
The 12-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene in West Dunbartonshire.
More than £15,000 has been raised for the family of Ava, as tributes came pouring in across social media.
Dance teacher at Full Out studio in Dumbarton, Holly Douglas, wrote: “My dancing angel I am heartbroken.
“Words can’t describe the way I feel Ava we all love you so so much you will never be forgotten at Full Out you will always be part of our team and our family.
“The world is a cruel place thinking of all the family right now, Ava I love you so so much.”
One social media user wrote: “Absolutely heartbreaking such a beautiful girl, thinking of the family and all the girls at dancing.”
