ACT Counselling Services is an SQA approved centre (3025993) and an official CPD Standards Office Accredited Provider (22189) with 10 of our CPD Events accredited.
We have been Awarded COSCA Recognition and have been assessed by COSCA as meeting the standards of the COSCA Recognition Scheme for Organisations as a Counselling & Psychotherapy Organisation. ACT is now entered into the COSCA Register for Recognised Organisations and appear on COSCA's website.
ACT offers a variety of services to both the public and private sector. We deliver courses credit rated by SQA, Validated by COSCA and our CPD events are accredited by the CPD Standards Office.

The main aims of ACT Counselling Services are:
- To provide excellence in the delivery of training related to Counselling and Psychotherapy.
- To provide excellence in the provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Supervision.
- To ensure that the services provided are as accessible as possible to interested parties.
- To keep abreast of accreditation criteria (BABCP, BACP and COSCA) and to support Practitioners to meet with this criteria.
- To access external quality assurance to ensure excellence in the services provided.
- To work with BABCP, COSCA and BACP in order to keep up to date with information and requirements relevant to the practice of Counselling, Psychotherapy and related services in the UK.
