Long Business Description
Lingo Flamingo is a charity focused on providing laid-back, accessible language classes for any and everyone. Our Community Classes are open to adults over 18, and allow you to learn French, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Japanese! They run in 10-week semester basis, ranging from Hatchling classes (for complete beginners) to Fledgling classes (for experienced learners). You can join us in-person at our Shawlands hub or join from the comfort of your own home in our Online classes!
Lingo Flamingo exists to make language learning interactive and accessible. Therefore, the profit from our Community classes goes towards providing free or subsidised language classes to older adults and to those living with dementia in care homes, day centres, and community locations across Scotland! Studies have shown the benefits of learning a second language, from boosting confidence to stimulating the brain to keep it active. You can learn more about this on our website!
