Born and bred not too far from here, Mr MacGregor was a man who is inspired since he was a young boy by the tales of Phileas Fogg, he longed to experience every corner of the world. And he made it happen – travelling the globe he was excited by the fragrant spices and fresh aromas that he found in the foods that he ate and the liquor he drank, and he wanted to share this with the people of Glasgow. In his eyes he had the perfect combination – the sensational produce from Scotland’s larder in fusion with flavours from across the world. But he couldn’t decide on just one cuisine to bring back… and that is why we have small plates. Mr MacGregor wants you to enjoy something from each and every one of his travels.
