Cafes and Delis in Glasgow
Whether you like a wee sit down with a latte, watching the world go by or you're forever grabbing a cup to go on the way to work, Glasgow has you covered.
Relaxed brunch and vegan menus have gained a foothold, whilst delis and bakeries have begun to emphasise locally-roasted coffee and in-house baking. Such developments augur only good things ahead for this city's café culture.
Stepping into this overly trendy caffeine haven can sometimes feel a bit like stepping into some kind of elaborate hipster parody. While the selection of vegetarian and vegan sweet and savoury bites can be gone before lunchtime on busy days (to avoid waste, they tend to make only a limited amount) the quality is very high.
Dog friendly cafe in the heart of shawlands serving up the best brunch in the south and a damn fine cup of coffee.
At The Wild Olive Tree we want to make a difference. We serve speciality origin coffee from Dear Green Coffee, a roastery based in Glasgow city centre, as well as a range of flavoured teas and cold drinks. We also cater for dietary needs – there is always a vegetarian soup on offer, and a small range of gluten-free products.
