Find Your Voice Singing Workshop for Women

1 June @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
£22.38

Breathwork meets singing for a life-affirming experience!

Have you always wanted to sing and would like to build your courage to sing with confidence? Do you already have experience and would like to develop your vocal skills? On Monday 1st June, from 6pm – 7pm in the Renfield Centre, Glasgow, award-winning opera singer and voice teacher, Louise Macdonald will guide you through a process in a safe, nurturing environment where you’ll have fun in a community of like-minded women. These workshops are suitable for all levels of vocal experience and for women of any age. We apply Kind Internal Self Talk throughout, to build confidence in what we are capable of.

Here is what you’ll learn at each workshop:

  1. Gentle movement combined with the breath, to release stress and promote a healthy nervous system. (2min)
  2. A singing game or round to have fun and create community. (8 min)
  3. Breathing and vocal technique (a vocal exercise) on a given topic. (30 min)
  4. Singing a new song each month, in harmony, applying what we have learned . (20 min)

“Last night was so much fun! I went along to Louise Macdonald’s singing workshop. I love karaoke but more of a screecher. Louise helped me produce some nice tones. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t realise how much of the body you used when singing. No wonder I got a sore throat after a night of karaoke! I can’t wait for the next workshop! ” Kelly Elliott

I look forward to meeting you or seeing you again! Warmest wishes, Louise x
