Mindfulness & Wellbeing Course for Carers


This is a fully funded course for adult carer’s. The Wellbeing and Mindfulness Programme runs every Tuesday evening at 7.30-9.30pm starting on 22 August for eight consecutive weeks at The Wellbeing Centre until 10th October in a supportive and safe environment within a small like-minded group.


The programme offers a valuable combination of intellectual knowledge, experiential practice and  practical skills that can be applied in the real world to help more effectively with stress, anxiety, depression, overwhelm and anger.  We will explore the nature of the mind and have an opportunity to develop the capacity for mindful non-judgmental awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviour.


Scientific Studies show Mindfulness can help to:


  • Reduce stress, depression and anxiety
  • Regulate and be able to cope with feelings and emotions
  • Reduce chronic pain
  • Improve sleep
  • Strengthen the immune system
  • Improve clarity, focus and attention
  • Develop and enhance resilience
  • Increase wellbeing and happiness
