Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival is back for 2023! From 11-17 September, visitors can enjoy a series of heritage talks, exhibitions, and open buildings, centred around the theme of ‘The Sensory City,’ inspired by poet Liz Lochhead and her poem ‘A Glasgow nonsense rhyme for Molly’.

For an entire week, from guided walks to fascinating talks, we offer an immersive experience that lets you delve into the heart and soul of our city’s past and present, all completely FREE of charge!

Attendees can enjoy a range of events, with more than 100 buildings open to the public and an exciting lineup of over 100 trails, tours, and special events to choose from.

Our programme for 2023 goes live from Tuesday 08 August 2023. All events are free to attend, but some require advance booking. Be sure to check the Glasgow Doors Opens Day Festival website from early September to book your place.

Our festival is made possible by the dedication and passion of the Glasgow Building Preservation Trust. We take pride in preserving and showcasing the architectural marvels that define our city’s identity.
