GRIDLOCK new original play premiering in Glasgow

Get ready for this exciting new play premiering at The Poetry Club, SWG3.
Glasgow on 25th & 26th February 2026 at 7PM.

GRIDLOCK follows a couple stuck in traffic – both literally and emotionally – as the present moment fractures into flashbacks that reveal the turning points of their relationship. The play moves between the car and past moments in their story, creating an intimate, emotionally claustrophobic 45-minute two-hander.

As Alexa (Annika Foster) and Thomas (Gunnar Bjercke) wait for the traffic to subside, they start reminicising on moments that shaped their relationship, ultimately trying to answer the questions: how did we get here and where are we going?
