
Step into a sanctuary of healing at our Restorative Grief Retreat – a gentle, supportive space designed to nurture healing, honour memories, and reconnect you peace and joy. Join us on Saturday 9th November, 10am–2:30pm at Flow Yoga & Wellness, 1 Kilmartin Place, Uddingston, guided by compassionate facilitators Colleen and Karen. Karen brings over a decade of experience in grief counselling and is a qualified mindfulness teacher, she also hosts the Grief Unedited Podcast. Colleen is a registered Mental Health Officer, YT500 Yoga teacher and Sound Healer.
What to Expect
Opening circle: Participants are invited to share photos or mementos of loved ones and let your story be held in community (This is optional, and there’s no pressure if you don’t want to share)
Mindfulness practice: Ground your spirit and soothe your heart through gentle guidance.
Restorative Movement session: no prior experience required, this gentle yoga flow will help us ground our body.
Sound bath: Experience calming, restorative tones for deep emotional release.
Closing circle: Reflect and integrate the day’s healing moments together.

The retreat is open to anyone, whether your loss was long ago, or you are navigating anticipatory grief ahead of someone’s passing – you’ll be welcome.

We’ll start and end the day with a circle – if you’d like to, you’ll be invited to bring along a photo or memento of your loved one to share with the group. If you’d prefer not to, that’s absolutely ok.

Drinks and light snacks will be available on the day, and it’s best to attend in comfortable clothes.

The movement session will be suitable for all levels of experience – it’s a restorative, gentle, yoga flow.

To access the studio, participants will need to be able to walk two flights of stairs. Unfortunately there’s no lift access.

Spaces are limited, and we’re expecting them to go quickly. Once purchased tickets are non-transferable, and non-refundable.
