Studio Two Six One is a vibrant creative hub. Launched in October 2022 as an Art Gallery and Artisan Gift shop. We offer weekly Art classes for adults and children.

Summer 2024 is our second Summer Sessions of workshops for children. We have qualified Art teaching staff who can provide a wide range of activities for our young people.

We are running Art camp 3 days a week Tuesday – Thursday from 2nd July until 8th August whereby children can participate in artist lead workshops. This includes painting , pottery, printmaking and drawing. The sessions are fun and very engaging. We have just had an exhibition of both adult and children art classes, the kids loved it!

Our age range is age 8 plus, as we think this is the most appropriate age for the forthcoming workshops, we will look into developing a range of workshops for younger children soon.

In addition to participating in the workshops, the children will be surrounded by contemporary Scottish Art, it is a visual feast for them. We have a lovely cafe nearby ( The Broom Cafe ) just two doors along where you can spend a some time to relax whilst your children are being entertained and educated.

Each workshop is 90mins, all materials provided . £25 per session.
