Love Gaelic On-demand In-Person Scottish Gaelic Courses

Love Gàidhlig ann an Glaschu

We now have our January / February / March dates for our private tutoring 2024 availability in the centre of Glasgow. 

We aim to provide continuing support to students on the mainland as well, as travel to Uist for courses is quite expensive. So, we are bringing the island to you. We are open for registrations for our Love Gaelic classes, so get in touch as soon as possible, if you want a space. We’ll match you with a day / time that suits us both. Availability is posted online.

Beginner Communication Skills: 2-hour induction into the Gaelic language and taster of communication & conversation skill essentials. £30pp

1 Hour Private Session: all levels – Tutorial with resources, communication, conversation & reading skills tips. £30pp

Introduce Yourself Confidently: 2-hour workshop where you learn to confidently introduce yourself in Gaelic and have that initial conversation with someone new. Open to all levels. £30pp per session

Intermediate GAP-filler: 4-hour workshop to do the GAP analysis of your current skillset, followed with skills development exercises. (listening, reading, writing, speaking) You must have completed prior learning at intermediate level and confidently use: regular/irregular verbs in present, past & future tense. Excludes: conditional & passive tense & genitive. £60pp per session

Advanced Skills Booster (March only): 2-hour workshop to do the GAP analysis of your current skillset, followed with conversation & communication skills development exercises. (listening, reading, writing, speaking). You must have completed prior learning at advanced level and confidently use: regular/irregular verbs in present, past, future, conditional & passive tense. £30

Beginner Conversation Group Course (27-28 February) : This is a 10-hour course suitable for absolute beginners and duolingo learners, who still need to develop strong reading, conversation and communication skills. £180

Intermediate/Advanced Booster & Dialogue Development Courses

Our usual courses will be offered as well, once it is established there is sufficient demand in Glasgow. Waiting lists are open online and we will set this up, as soon as 4 students have registered interest.
