Women’s Support Project 40th Anniversary Party

15 March @ 7:00 pm

£15

Join us for the Women’s Support Project – 40th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, March 15th at Civic House. We are thrilled to commemorate four decades of supporting women in our community and fighting violence against women.

We have some fabulous entertainent arranged for the evening which includes:

Live music from The Laurettes (linktr.ee/Thelaurettes)

The Laurettes, an up-and-coming all-female band making a big noise up and down the country. Founded by dynamic duo Lauren O’Donoghue and Lynette Beaton, The Laurettes have been described as a “powerful indie folk fusion band with a Celtic rock twist.” These sought-after performers now have a growing reputation for their positive vibes, boundless energy, and uncanny ability to get the full crowd involved in their performances. Suzy Lee Kidd (Dj Set) (linktr.ee/suzyboo)

Providing the tunes for the night is Suzy Lee Kidd who ran Common People in the Flying Duck for 7 years. She is currently a resident DJ on Radio Buena Vida, runs Different Class at The Rumshack, DJs at McChuills as part of Disco 2000 and is part of Simply Thrilled in The Admiral Woods. Normally specialising in indie and britpop, for one night only, she will be bringing an all female playlist to dance to!

Hot buffet provided which will include vegetarian options.

We will also be holding a raffle on the evening to raise funds – please bring cash for this.
