Watch as Glasgow city centre turns into 1970s London for Borderland filming

FILMING for the action-packed new production, Borderland is underway in the city centre.

The story takes place in 1970s London and follows an IRA unit.

It is set to star Star Wars’ Felicity Jones and John Boyega, alongside Jack Reynor and Jodie Turner-Smith.

Filming in Glasgow started last week and crews took over West Campbell Street in the city centre today for a car chase scene, including a crash.

Vintage cars raced down the pavement and dozens of passers-by dressed in 70s clothes crossed the streets as the cameras started rolling.

Red double-deckers and phoneboxes provided the background to the exciting scene.

A hose could also be seen, used to create a rainy effect on the cars and pavement.
